As per Lee County Department of Community Development:1. The property is zoned Agricultural (AG-2), and is within the Wetlands Future Land Use Category as established in mid 1970's by the Lee County Comprehensive Plan, never been update.2. Start with obtaining an engineering firm that has a Land Use Planner on staff to move forward with the best plan on how to rezone this property for development3. Eventually a Jurisdictional Wetland Delineation would be needed on the property through FDEP (Florida Dept of Environmental Protection) to determine where and if viable wetlands are on the property. But the engineering firms will all know everything that will be required to move this project along.
